Just what I'm thinking about

New Route and new 5k record

I ran today at Sharon Woods Metro Park in Westerville. It has a 3.8 mile multi-purpose trail which makes for an excellent running trail. It was about 70 degrees today and beautiful. I ran a little over 4 miles without stopping, also a new record for me. My new 5k record is 24'50"

I'm going to the Arnold Sports Festival tonight in Columbus, should be interesting!

First 5k in training

So on my run today I decided to avoid the big hills and go on a trail through the woods for a bit. I ended up running a 5k in about 25:07!

Pounding the Pavement Challenge

I entered my first Nike + challenge. The winner is the one who runs the farthest distance in 30 days.

First Days With Nike+

I got a nike+ pair of shoes and sensor to go along with my Ipod touch. I ran about 4.5 miles the last two days. Average pace is around 8'11'' per mile.  I plan to continue running when I get back to school on the indoor track when its cold or around campus when it is warm. My goal is to run 50 miles in the next month.
